Questa non è una pietra nasce dopo una vacanza a Roma dell’illustratore ceco M. Šašek, noto per la serie di libri di viaggio Questa è… (Questa è Parigi, Questa è Londra, Questa è New York…).
In Questa non è una pietra i monumenti romani giocano con i disegni di Šašek: il Mosè di Michelangelo sfreccia con la sua Vespa sulla copertina, per la quale ho disegnato anche il lettering.
Per la promozione del libro è stata realizzata anche una shopper, che gioca con gli stessi elementi presenti in copertina.

This is not a stone was written after a Roman holiday of the Czech illustrator M. Šašek, known for the book series This is… (This is Paris, This is London, This is New York…).
In This is not a stone the most famous roman monuments play with Šašek’s drawings: the Moses by Michelangelo rides his Vespa on the cover of the Italian translation, for which I also designed the lettering.
A shopper was also designed for the book promotion, playing with the same elements of the cover.
